(25) I attended our Wood Turners Club Meeting last night and during the "Show
& Tell" part of the meeting, I showed the Christmas ornament I made
using one of the shells you sent. The ornament was a great hit!
Everybody was interested in where I obtained the shell. All I could
remember was your company name but I promised to get further information
to them.
Working wood down to such a small degree on a big
lathe is a challenge, that is why I
requested the largest shells available. The larger the shell, the
larger the wood can be made (which is safer for us) and it is easier to
keep the size and balance in prospective.
In appreciation for your efforts to me, I sent the following email to a
person in our club who will disperse it to all our local members. (It
will most likely be viewed by the International Woodturner's Association
as well.)

The above company "Deltona Seashells" sent shells closest to my written
request. They even included a few extras of a different nature, were
cheaper in price, and will replace any that may be broken in transit as
the shipment is insured. I had my order in a few days. They offer the
choice of using a regular credit card or Pay Pal. (Using Pay Pal will
slow the shipment down an additional 5 days.) If you cannot get to a
local shell store to make a purchase, this company would be my first
choice!
Two other orders were placed with other companies, one of which I
canceled, and another who sent me totally useless shells having been
sent the same written instructions regarding size and purpose.

Recently, I placed an order for a bag of mixed shells, sand dollars & star fish. They were all absolutely beautiful!!
I am getting married next March in Jamaica. My mother-in-law planned a beach themed bridal shower for me. I made the shells into magnets and gave them as favors. Everyone absolutely loved them! Its been less than a week since the shower and I am getting calls from guests asking if I have any shells left because they would like another magnet or two.
